At the top of ‘La Butte’ is La Bonne Franquette. Formerly known as ‘Aux Billards en Bois’ it used to play host to the likes of Monet, Cezanne, Renoir and Van Gogh although now it is the tourists who are attracted to its relaxed atmosphere.
