[CLOSED] Holocaust Museum
In the heart of the Romanian capital, Jewish institutions are a symbol of how powerful this community was in the city. The Jewish complex is hidden behind a couple of apartment buildings but once you discover it, you will be impressed by the small museum which explains the history of the Jewish community and the Shoah in Romania. The compound includes the Great Synagogue, the exhibition dedicated to the Holocaust in Romania, and a state Jewish theater. The museum also commemorates over 250.000 Jews who died during the deportation to Transnistria in 1941. #bucharest #romania #museum
