Moghlai Parathas and Kathi Rolls
These are variations of the Indian style flatbreads. Rotis or flatbreads are stuffed with minced chicken, meat, vegetables, eggs or paneer - the Indian cheese, mixed with spicy sauces and then rolled up and served to you. The Kathi roll was invented in Kolkata and is one of the most popular street foods here. Moghlai paranthas on the other hand are square parcels of crispy, fluffy flatbread usually filled with eggs and at rare times minced chicken and then deep or shallow fried to perfection and can be eaten as is or with accompaniments. Nizam’s is thought of as the place where the Kathi Roll originated and they are also famed for their Moghlai Parathas.
