The National Gallery
A veritable “Who’s Who” of European painting fills the National Gallery, Michelangelo, Van Gogh, El Greco, Caravaggio, Titian, Rembrandt and just about any other big name even the student who failed art history 101 would recognize. The East Wing holds the cream of the crop of well-known British artists, which while not favorites, do seem to shine most brightly when displayed in the land of their birth.
