When in Colombia you must try one of their most traditional games - Tejo. The aim of the game is to throw your stone at the playing field, attempting to hit one of the small packages of gun powder (yes gun powder!) placed around a horseshoe. If you manage to connect you will get a nice little explosion. A points system is used to determine the winner of each round, the more accurately you can throw, the better you should do. Locals tend to throw from 15 - 20 metres distance but 3 - 5m is usually standard for beginners.
