I had a LOT of money taken from my room here but I'm not ready to discredit it yet...it's the only hostel as far as I know in El Chocó and its location is supreme. It's about a 30 minute walk along the beach from the pueblo of El Valle. The meals are a bit pricy but often fresh tuna so can't really complain. Beautiful secluded beach. Only negatives: make sure you lock up your stuff. They have lockers even if they don't tell you (which is what happened with me) and book tours in town as opposed to through the hostel. The employees are stoned or something and often forget to confirm with the guides on time. #hiking #camping
