I came to Budapest for 5 days to chill and get some culture. It's easy to get to town fr the airport. Just hop on bus 100E or 200E+metro. I recommend you rent an AirBnb. I had a whole studio to myself with a kitchen, big bed, living room area, great barhroom, and a washing machine across the street from the Parliament building for about $140 total - 4 nights. This area (Falk Miksa street) is wondeful. It's clean, has a ton of cute antique shops, and is surrounded by delicious restaurant and cozy cafes. People here are friendly and the majority speak English. You can pay by card almost anywhere (except street vendors). The city is nice and very cheap.
