How to tour Chachapoyas & its surroundings in a week
The town of Chachapoyas is in northern Peru, in a valley surrounded by cloud forest. The town is the major gateway to archaeological sites such as Kuélap, a walled city with hundreds of buildings from the ancient Chachapoyas civilization, the huge Gocta Waterfall (5th tallest on earth) north of the city, is set amid jungle sheltering toucans and monkeys. Besides those sites many others exist.
