Australia is one of the most diverse and beautiful countries in the world. Its huge land mass is home to a number of unique cities, eco systems and natural beauties so It can be hard to pick where to travel to. Here is my list of the best destinations to visit on the East Coast of Australia with a focus on the northern tropical region. Start in Sydney and head north where you will take in a number of beaches, relaxed towns and breath taking views. For those on a longer trip I would suggest driving from Sydney to the top of Queensland where you will reach the Great Barrier Reef. This will also allow you to stop at more off-the-beaten-path towns.
