Singapore often tops the list of the most expensive travel destination in South East Asia but it really doesn’t have to be! I found Singapore to be very budget friendly when I recently visited with a lot of the main tourist destinations being free or very inexpensive. There are many free heritage trails for certain areas devised by the National Heritage board which give you an overview of important areas like Kampong Glam and Little India which I really enjoyed doing!
