Long gone are the days when the only “vegetables” regularly available in British restaurants were soggy chips and frozen peas. And London in particular has become a world-class destination for vegan food, I think one could make the argument (forgive me my beloved NYC) that it’s the best in the world. And you don’t need to pay a lot to feast in this culinary Mecca. In fact the only really disappointing meal I suffered through during my visit was the most expensive one. Stick to the food halls, street chow, local corner dives and you’ll be in vegan heaven!
