Where to eat and sightsee in Zaragoza
Zaragoza is the fifth largest city in Spain and it is less than two hours away, by train, from Madrid. It is very close to small towns such as Calatayud and Tarazona, which makes them great for some day trips. The city is located on the banks of the Ebro River. Rambling in the Casco Antiguo is a must, here you can have drinks and eat pintxos in bars and restaurants. There are many interesting museums, such as Museo Goya; and important monuments like the Basilica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar and the Catedral del Salvador, La Seo.
