Luang Prabang is the jewel of Laos. This northern city nestled in mountains is a beautifully preserved UNESCO world heritage site with wonderful temples, delicious street food, gastronomic French restaurants, a colourful night market, a hill, two rivers and magnificent waterfalls around. Spend at least two days but even a week to explore how Hmong tribal villages in the mountains around the city.
