Dambulla and Sigiriya are two of the sites of central Sri Lanka that form the country's cultural triangle. The rock cut cave temples of Dambulla with their painted Buddhas are fantastic while the natural outcrop that is Sigiriya with beautiful frescoes and sweeping views is breathtaking.
