The northernmost emirate of the United Rab emirates Ras Al Khaimah is an up-and-coming emirate, a large part due to its abundance of historical sites and sport and adventure activities. Ras Al Khaimah is approximately a 75-90 minute drive from Dubai and a little over two-and-a-half hours from Abu Dhabi, two popular emirates from which it differs vastly. While Ras Al Khaimah makes for an action-packed day trip from other points of the United Arab Emirates, there are definitely enough activities and opportunities for adventure to last several days.
