The Alps have always been on my bucket list since I can remember however I had held back travelling there because of the high cost of the Swiss Alps. I was shocked when I discovered Innsbruck, Austria which is located in the heart of the Alps and has breathtaking views but is less than half the price of travelling to Switzerland. The Alps in Innsbruck lived up to my expectations and was a magical experience. This city offers sweeping views, the best skiing spots and a charming Old Town. A must for skiers and photographers. I would recommend purchasing the 24/48/70 hour Innsbruck card which provides daily access to the cable cars, city attractions and all transport.
