Not so common as a touristic destination, Kosovo is a gem in the Balkans. It's capital, Pristina looks a bit gloomy and boring at the first sight, but if you pay enough attention, it has a lot to offer. Monuments, nightlife, historical places, street art...it's worth extending your stay in this city. The population is very young and almost everyone speaks good english, and there are a lot of international expats, you'll never feel lonely.
