Tallinn is Estonia's capital and has a lovely old town with colourful buildings and a hill topped with a castle. The Old Town is protected by medieval walls that can be climbed for panoramic views. A bus ride away is Lahemaa National Park with forest and beaches by a calm sea full of ice age boulders.
