Central Sri Lanka is home to high mountains, lush tea plantations, Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim and Christian religious sites and wonderful vegetation. The cultural capital of Kandy has one of Sri Lankan Buddhism's most sacred sites as well as the Art Association with evocative dance performances. Spend at least a week exploring this rich region.
