I’m visiting Costa Rica flying into SJO for a long weekend...Thursday -Monday. Can someone recommend a town where we should stay for us to be able to fit in a waterfall hike and rappelling, surf lessons and a day at sea. Prefer non-touristy

Hey Chandray - If you don’t mind a few hour drive, La Fortuna had amazing waterfall hikes, volcanoes, etc. But it’s inland so we did a couple days there and then drove down to the beach near Manuel Antonio. Jaco is fairly touristy so you may want to avoid that, but it would be easy to find surfing… More
