Going to Guanajuato for 3 days, looking for any recommendations and also advice on how to get to Mexico City from there.

San Miguel de Allende is a jewel worth the drive from Mexico City. The architecture and cobblestone streets are beautiful. It also has great restaurants, sightseeing tours of mansion and countryside, and a vibrant nightlife. I also highly recommend seeing the museum of mummies and the town of León, well known for shoes makers. Safe travels!
Michael Mata thanks for the info. Actually, arrived in Leon and came from San Miguel de Allende... Going to try to do the Mummy Museum today.
