Las Chavelas, in the Sunset strip mall on highway 95, is a great whole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant. Syringa’s is top notch for sushi. And the Garnet Cafe does breakfast right. Those last two can be found side by side on Walnut Ave between 3rd and 4th St.

Cricket’s is a sports bar downtown on Sherman Ave with exceptional food. And Fire Pizza will redefine the genre for you.
