Ferry to Waiheke Island, definitely. Shopping in Newmarket or Britomart. Plenty of great restaurants in Britomart or Ponsonby — our fave is Ortolana.
Go up the Sky Tower. The views are amazing. Nip over to Devonport to see a more villagey-feeling area. I’d also recommend the Auckland Museum.
