It's cold in the desert but check out Sedona. Also hit up Antelope Canyon if you can. It's on my bucket list !!!

Check out the petrified forest national park, on the east side of the state. Also Carter lake is cool. And if you like spelunking there is the largest dry cave in the US at Grand Canyon caverns, take the explorer tour. It's not true spelunking but you hop over the fence and get to climb up and down some of the holes.
