We enjoyed Cordoba too. It's very small but charming. The Andalusian region as a whole is very nice but different from Barcelona. San Sebastian for beach and tapas tasting.

Andalusia where you can combine 2 or 3 of the capital cities. I visited Cordoba, Granada, Seville and Almeria 2 years ago and it was amazing!

Yes Basque Country is very nice. We never go to Spain in Summer because of excessive heat. If we want to be that hot we can stay in Louisiana!! Ha ha!
