We will be back in Maui this next week with the kids (boys 14,8,6). We have been several times are there any fun hikes, activities, places to eat that are secret or not at touristy? Thanks!

I know this is out of date but if you haven't been, you should go to Baked on Maui for breakfast, Nuka for sushi in Haiku and for beautiful water vmand cliff diving go to the cliff house just north of Lahaina.

Will be on the big island in January and looking for recommendations on places to hike/explore as well as good places to get food? Haven't been in nearly 10 years so am sure a lot has changed.
