Mary Cajahuanca's question in United States

Attraction / Nightlife

Hello! I’m spending a week in Sacramento. Today I went skiing in Tahoe. It was great! What else is there to do around here? All recommendations are welcomed... thanks in advance! :))

Watch the film “Lady Bird” to get excited about Sacramento (just nominated for Oscar). Old Town Sac is a must. The Train museum is there is really a California history museum. Also go to state Capital. Walk around MidTown. Si many restaurants. I love LowBrau for fresh beer and Herman food.
Also, downtown Davis is cool. Very progressive college town. The “Arboretum” is great place on UC Davis campus if you love parks. It has thousands of native CA plants and trees.
Thank you Scott!!!
You could walk through river walk park and over the gold Tower bridge to old Sac and check out the cool shops like Evangeline’s and there’s beer and food around. If you really like beer some of my fav spots are: Pangaea Bier Cafe they tend to have a tasty selection although pricey Low Brau…
If you like wine and beer the foothills have some great wineries and breweries. I would spend a Thursday going through Placer or Amador Counties and tasting what thr region has to offer.
Try Lone Buffalo winery in Auburn and Sierra Star in Grass Valley. Nevada City is also a great town to walk around with lots of good places to eat. Top Golf in Roseville is really fun even if your not good at the game as it is a great twist on both golf and bowling.
