Perhaps the most prominent moment was when it was occupied by the De Pinto family after which the house is known by. Fleeing conversion to Catholicism the family moved to the Netherlands in order to return to Judaism ending up in this place for better prospects. The residence now serves as a library, perfect for cooling off in the summer with your laptop or preferred book.
