'T' stands for tunnelbana in Swedish and means underground. The 'Centralen' part I guess you can solve what that signifies. T-Centralen does its name justice by covering all three of the lines constituting the Stockholm Underground. The blue and white designs with paintings of laurel wreaths cause me to think of ancient Greece. The escalator is something else. It's illuminated to resemble a rainbow; each step a different colour. Then there's the one of the entrances with Moroccan lamps plastered to the roof - also lit up. A local obstructed my lens with some impertinent body language. He then proceeded to spiel off some facts about the station, which I was only too grateful for. There are plaques on the walls resembling giant bottle tops with references to local football teams. The stadium close by had relevance! #escalator #architecture #art
