Gogia Fortress
Gogia fortress stands mystically at the ridge of a mountain overlooking the town of Borjormi. Little is known of its existence. Based on my scant amount of knowledge of Georgian history, I would wager the Bahratoni dynasty or feudal lords encircling these lands were responsible for its original construction (during the Golden Age between 11th and 13th century). The sweeping clouds and backdrop of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains make for some fine views over the river and through the sharp valleys zigzagging around town.
