The hotel even has a name for its composter, Oscar. Other sustainable practices by this LEED (Leadership in Energy and Design) Gold Certified building, which is topped by one of the city’s best rooftop bars, Cerise, include an energy efficient lighting system and water usage that falls 20% below industry standards. Guests also have the option to “green their stay” - during which $1 per night can be dedicated to a carbon offset effort of their choice.
