Skiing in Severák is a perfect spot for novice to intermediate skiers and there are eight pistes to choose from. It's very family-friendly with a magic carpet (conveyor belt) on one 100-metre ski run for toddlers. Four other tow lifts are dedicated to kids and beginners. At an altitude of 700+ metres on the higher pistes you can be assured more than reasonable views. Whilst Sererák lies in the foothills of Jizera Mountains, you can still find some challenging gradients to hone your skiing technique. Glance down to Liberec and the famed Ještěd Tower from the top of the only operational red grade slope. The views stretch for more than 20 kilometres.
