Xhamia Mati 1 is one of the most beautiful mosques in Pristina. The photo does not do it justice but on my visit it was empty and open to check out. I snuck in one hot afternoon after deciding to walk up the hill from the centre. The mosque lies in a residential district thirty mins on foot from well known Sheshi Square. I admired the tasteful interior and symmetrical designs adorned with a glistening, eye-catching chandelier in the middle of the main prayer hall. #mosque #free #architecture #city
