Across the way from #Tiananmen Square is Qianmen Dashilan, a 600 year old commercial neighborhood featuring traditional #Chinese shops. Here, you’ll find quality stores—some of which have been around for 200 years—selling #silks, Old #Beijing #shoes, or #tea. There’s also plenty of stores selling local Beijing snacks, and some of the most renowned flagship restaurants such as Quanjude Peking duck also started off here.
