Museo Nacional de Arte Decorativo
When visiting Buenos Aires you will find a variety of buildings that resemble European style that were constructed at the start of the 20th century by Argentina’s upper classes. This museum is a great opportunity to see for yourself how the wealthiest and most important families of the Belle Epoque used to live. It used to be the residence of society couple Josefina de Alvear and Matías Errázuriz Ortúzar and has been turned into a museum featuring European and oriental furniture, sculptures, paintings, and tapestries and a little but beautiful garden that resembles Versailles. The Museum of Decorative Art is accompanied by a lovely cafe where you can indulge in one of its many pastries or cakes. #architecture #familyfriendly #buenosaires #art #museum #palace
