Biserica Romano-Catolică din Elisabetin
A local taxi driver urged me to see this church at night. Made in neo-Gothic style, it was only completed in 1919 after construction was stalled due to the First World War. The whitesmoke exterior lends itself well for the way in which it's floodlit every evening. The belfries of this Roman Catholic denomination glow bright red and yellow. Positioned opposite a busy ring road, the street lighting and traffic really set off this building at night. On reflection, I was perfectly content with seeing it in its simplistic representation.
