I was impressed with Podebrady at first impressions on stepping foot outside the main train station. The colonnade faces fountains halfway down a meticulously kept park peppered with flowerbeds and bushes. Inside the dome shaped roof you can try their spa water for free before parking yourself beside windows looking out to the fountains and park. The place is humming with strollers, old and young, and is a perfect place to come for a lazy afternoon with friends and family.
