Martha’s vineyard is 1 of the top vacation spots for New England! It’s definitely more of a pricey vacation, but can also be a great day trip from elsewhere in New England! Only a short ferry ride from Wood’s Hole and other locations in the cape; rountrip fares are $17 for walk-on passenger and $80+ for cars. I took an early ferry and spent the day cycling (many bike rentals offered) around the colourful houses of Edgartown and checking out the locations from the movie Jaws.
