Of course when you come to Lijiang you have to spend a day just wondering around the old town and taking it all in. It’s quite charming and in the morning there aren’t any tourists and it’s lovely and peaceful before all te touristy gift shops open up. But honestly seeing it at the height of its touristy ness cheesy shops and crowds and all is worth seeing and getting a sense of. At least for a second. Then head to the southern part of the old town where it’s not as crazy but you still have the beautiful canals and architecture. #luxury #hotel #free #history
