For a mountain range not even topping four digits it's amazing how high you can feel atop Mt. Luž in the Lusatian Mountains. Crowds are far fewer here especially compared to the other ranges and reserves within striking distance of Liberec. Following German occupation before the end of WW2 hikers can come face to face with remnants of intriguing bunkers sprinkled around the forested trails. I spotted one with a line of Christmas trees planted around one which at first glance could be misconstrued for being a home for dwarfs. #photography #hiking
