Yori, Masarykovo nábřeží 246/12
Yori opened its doors on the 1st November as a well balanced Vietnamese/Thai restaurant. I feel somewhat fortunate to have been on the receiving end of a place creating good first impressions in Prague, coupled with the naturally warm persona of staff. With its minimalist design located under street level, the bamboo furnishings and polished interior make for some pleasant dining. Unlike a lot of the family-owned restaurants by Vietnamese throughout the country serving up very average Chinese dishes, this place sticks to what it knows best! Sides are 35 CZK and mains float at the 150 mark. The cooking is well prepared and presented, which would certainly appeal to a mass audience of Asian-food aficionados. I degustated the phat Thai with prawn which was another speciality cuisine I felt they cooked to near perfection. The ingredients were clearly in line with what a phat Thai should be. Complimented by a ginger tea, my taste buds were easily tantalized. Being a stones throw from Charles Bridge this is a place that would make a worthy lunch stop before or after other such sights within its proximity. I would like to return in order to sample more traditional Vietnamese dishes and receive some splendid Asian hospitality akin to the last visit! #free-wifi
