Try taking the Ngong Ping 360 cable car which transports you across the Ngong Ping village and where Big Buddha is found. But prior to reaching the Big Buddha, you will encounter the Twelve Divine Generals – each representing a different animal from the Chinese zodiac. Once you’ve passed through these statues, you’ll encounter the staircase that leads you to the top where the Buddha is found. But no need to rush before reaching it.
