No climbing gear needed, but we were scrambling up large rocks. Bring plenty of water and allow yourself time to acclimate to the elevation. It's a quick gain from the trailhead. Of course the views are amazing! I brought my lab, and she did great wearing booties to protect her from the rocks. #hiking #camping
