Driving from Ljubljana to Bohinj, we stopped for a couple hours to peruse Piran, known as the "Venice" of Slovenia. For just €1 you can walk to the top of the bell tower, which provides a lovely view of Piran but you'll have to walk a lot of very old wooden steps that feel as though they might just snap if you stepped hard enough! Oh, and there's just one extremely narrow staircase for visitors both coming and leaving the bell tower, so be prepared for lots of pausing and some tight squeezes. #piran #slovenia #views
