These are the oldest preserved residential houses in Liberec. They date back to 1681 and used to house weavers and craftsmen. They lie inconspicuously down a small side street very close to The Church of the Holy Cross. This concealed alleyway is quiet niche of downtown inside one of Liberec’s busy thoroughfares. Liberec doesn’t display many remnants of sixteenth century architecture, so stumbling on these buildings is gratifying. #familyfriendly #architecture #free #history
