Most people know there's amazing beef jerky on the 395 between Southern California and Mammoth Lakes, but most people stop in all the wrong places. This is the superior jerky stop. But all of that is amateur hour. Sure, the jerky was why I used to come, but their deli is the true real deal. The Capone is my jam - the best sandwich within a solid 250 mile radius. The BLT contains more glorious B than any human should consume in one sitting. Even their potato salad has excess B. My go-to stop every time I drive south from Mammoth.
