Sally Lunn’s Historic Eating House & Museum
Down a small back street of Bath is the long standing Sally Lunn's Historic Eating House and Museum. It would behoove any first timer to Bath popping in and getting a taste of a delicacy that stems back over well over three centuries. The bun resembles that of a French brioche; high in butter and egg. Consider it akin to an enriched loaf of bread. Aesthetically it emanates quaintness. The interior is bedecked in typical English style blue and white porcelain crockery on the walls; all set around wooden furniture. I had partially expected it to be more cluttered with doilies and lace table cloths and yet it's still quintessentially English, once inside. Opening times: 10am - 9pm; 7 days a week.
