Vai Beach is a really beautiful beach at the far north-eastern side of crete. It's especially famous as it is a classic palm beach, with big palm trees, light sand and the blue sea. It's nice for kids as they can play in the sand, and run around and explore the little wooden walks between the palms. It's also a cool spot to have a picknick with friends or just to go swimming. The area can be quite crowded, but it's always possible to find a nice spot. The water is perfect for swimming, and afterwards there are enough bars and little restaurants to get some food or a sundowner drink. Vai beach can be accessed by car, on the way there you'll pass something that could almost be called a palmtree forest, it's definetly worth a stop to take some pictures or explore. #views #swimming #activekids #beach #seaside #palms #familyfriendly #funforteens #park
