Placed in one of the busiest spots in Andorra is a masterpiece by the well-known artist Salvador Dalí. Often referred to by visitors as simply "The Dalí Clock", this melting clock reflects the artist's idea that time can be fluid and that no being has power over it; not even royalty. This is reflected by the melting crown over its face. The sculpture was donated to the Andorran government in 1999 by Enric Sabater, Dalí's friend and confidant. Officially it takes the French name "La Noblesse du Temps", since he exhibited many works in France and means The Nobility of Time. #sculpture #dali #history #free #art
