Titus Canyon Road
This is the best drive in Death Valley National Park. Be aware you’ll most likely need a high clearance vehicle (you can rent a Jeep at Furnace Creek Resort). You’ll start outside the park in the ghost town of Rhyolite (it’s worth looking around here. On top of the town ruins there’s weird modern art and sculptures in the middle of the desert). It’s slow going and the start of the drive won’t be much but once you get into the mountains and are greeted by the rainbow geology you’ll realize what makes this drive the best. The best view is at the top of the aptly named red pass before you drop down and eventually drive out the narrow canyon walls to the main road in the park. #mountains #photography #camping #activekids #funforteens #park
